UGH, Anxiety!!!

Hello World,

I want to talk about the ugly little sister of Depression named Anxiety! That little whore is a pain in the ass! She wants to follow me everywhere! She wants to do everything I do and if she can't, she gets trippy! Bro, undergoing an anxiety attack is like horrifying because you can't do anything but be, yes just be. It's like your body begins to load the worry, fears, excuses, negativity and consequences all at once and your mind becomes flustered because your heart is beating 1000 bpm and your mind can't even channel a thought. You start to hyperventilate as you sink into the arms of anxiety & depression because they work together.

*Anxiety is classified as a mental health disorder characterized by feelings of worry, anxiety, or fear that are strong enough to interfere with one's daily activities.*

You don't know what's happening in the moment because it honestly feels like death! It's like being permanently stuck for at least 5-10 mins. Some people can have an anxiety attack and get back to reality in the same sentence but some can't. I'm one of those who can't. When my anxiety gets the best of me, I need time to extract myself from the universe after. I need time to rejuvenate before I can interact with the world again. I'm just glad that I don't experience it often but when I do, it's usually dreadful.

Everyone can display signs of anxiety but the severity of it is what makes a difference. Don't worry anxiety is totally treatable! Although according to statistics only 1/3 of the individuals suffering from it get help. If you're apart of that 2/3, you should take the steps to recovery! Simply by practicing relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, or progressive muscle relaxation! If none of these can help you manage then the next best step is to consult with a physician.

Anxiety is so powerful when you are most vulnerable because you are already aware of your situation and now your drowning yourself in every bad circumstance there is. Anxiety takes the excitement out of everything because you're so use to the bad things happening. When your life is full of misfortune it's hard to not experience or develop anxiety. It's becomes almost natural to feel uneasy doing anything.

What's the biggest problem with anxiety is that it's everyone's voices and opinions that have now formulated into your own. You let them in and now they won't get out, they've engaged in your mind and altered your thoughts, goals, associates, path, etc..... After bad experiences you never allowed yourself the positive regard that you deserved because of what you were given.

LET GO! RELEASE! REMOVE! DELETE! THIS IS NOT A COMPETITION THIS IS YOUR MENTAL HEALTH! Don't let anxiety turn your perception into pessimism! Don't let the downfalls of anxiety discourage when you've felt the ground before and if you haven't I suggest you prepare yourself. It's causes an imbalance in our life as well as mind but it does not completely stop us unless we allow it to. That's why knowledge and acceptance go hand in hand when working to understand the concept of something. Take control of your worries, fears, excuses, etc.. don't allow them to take control of you.
