Letter To Myself

Dear self, I am writing you this letter for whenever you feel alone, scared, tired, stressed, worn out, overwhelmed, useless, broken, etc.. I'm writing this letter for you whenever you feel your losing it. I want you to know that you're not, you're only growing. I want you to know that you have to take care of yourself or you'll really drive yourself crazy waiting on someone else to. Never forget that you matter to, so if you can't do something for someone then you can't and they should understand that. I need you to believe in yourself, because other people may not understand your vision enough to believe. Listen to other opinions and actually try out what they suggest. Try taking your own advice, considering a lot of people come to you for advice. Self, I'd like for you to know that if no one is proud of you, I am.

I've been there through everything and you hold a lot of baggage, but girl your maintaining. Tell me exactly how long do you just want to "maintain?" How long will you block out the world when you want to be loved as much as anyone else? If you care and love yourself like no other you won't have to worry about who doesn't, because self-love is the best love. Form a solid relationship with God, he's always got your back. I want you to be able to talk to him before you talk to anyone else. Acknowledge him with prayer and rejoice in his grace.

Self, I know you've been hurt and you'll probably be hurt even more but never let the people who hurt you, make you hurt those that didn't. Don't give in to the will of others when you know it's no good for you. Look out for yourself better, you've been through enough. I know being strong gets tiresome and you won't to be weak, but let's face it you've never been the "weak" type so pull yourself together and do the best you can. Sometimes things fall apart for better things to form.Stop being so afraid of change and embrace it. Sop being so afraid to, open up, you never know who needs you. Stop being so afraid to deal with people, you'll never be successful in that way.
